Decent overview, would like to see more

This booklet is short and to the point. I would pay more to see more details - for instance, a more practical example of I2C hardware.
Also, this book needs a bit of editing by a native English speaking person. Given that it's currently the only book dedicated to Digispark hardware, not too bad. Perhaps the manufacturer can add their contribution?

OK but a few linguistic problems

This is one of the only if not THE only book for the digispark range of boards.
Unlike the Arduino series which use the Atmel Atmega328 the Digispark uses the ATtiny 85 an a compressed version of the Arduino code allowing it to be programmed by a suitably modified Arduino IDE. It does however have a far smaller amount of useable memory after the bootloader has been installed so don't think you can simply port your Arduino UNO code across to the Digispark because you can't
This book is a definitely "to have" if you're playing with the Digispark but you need to be aware that this has been written by someone whose first language appears to have not been english.
Consequently some of the book takes some rereading and considerable decoding before you can make sense of it.
All said and done though this is a worthwhile addition I just can't make it more than "it's ok" as a review as it should have had a deeper proof read by someone who could rephrase sentences correctly.

A guilty pleasure that was quite entertaining =)

There are SO many step-brother books on the market right now and so many of them are really cheesy...so I am very fussy about which ones I deem worthy of my time. Reading these types of books is a guilty pleasure...like being on a diet and sneaking off to eat ice-cream when nobody is watching...but I can honestly say that Storm was a happy surprise, and even though there were some cliche and melodramatic parts, it was really quite good.
Rubi and Jax made a funny, cute couple...they were hilarious at times and very angsty, tense and sexual at others. The story had some emotional surprises and pangs as well, with some unexpected turns and a very nice resolution at the end.
The steam was pretty hot (illicit sexual encounters usually are) and yet it never felt sleazy or wrong...just a fantasy that many probably wish to happen.
If you like the new step-brother craze (or even if you don't)...this one is worth a read for a fun time...perfect for vacation or the beach.

In my humble opinion, I say skip this

I didn't like this book because at the end of the story, I ended up not liking both of the protagonists. In the beginning, I found myself hating the female protagonist, Rubi, because she was an 18 year old who was a brat with a nasty bad attitude. I could not figure out why, the male protagonist, Jax, desired her. The book was told in both of their POVs and spanned 4 years. I will admit that they had chemistry and their attraction was formidable. Yes, they were step siblings, but they were not blood related nor did they grow up with one another, so I didn't see any taboo in their budding relationship. Jax was older by a few years and I was amazed by his maturity, but in the end, he stated that if there was love, God's blessing was not needed. This statement bothered me so much as it told me that he felt love was not a gift or honor. It confused me because Jax's actions and words of love for Rubi contrasted that statement. I know that this is just a fictional story, but how can I enjoy the story when you don't like or root for the protagonists of the story. In my humble opinion, I say skip it.

As a fan of Stepbrother Romance I find Storm to have many of the elements I am looking for. The two characters do not initially get along and I appreciate that twist of angst and snark. Jax and Rubi are very sexy and their chemistry is explosive. Jax is not very likable, he is very fuqable. There is a difference. At times his level of smarmy confidence is a bit off putting and if not for the unwilling chemistry...Rubi probably would have castrated him. He's mean, he pulls her top off at the beach publicly and continues to flirt and touch other women after they have been intimate. Pretty awesome stuff if you like some drama with your stepbrother romance! The level of heat in this novel is hot enough to melt your kindle.
Some things I struggled with- it was apparent very early on that there was going to be a "big misunderstanding" that was going to drive these two apart and I wondered "how long will I have to suffer them apart at some point?" The answer? It's in the book. Ouch. I struggle with their separation and wondered if there wasn't another way for this story to be told-but it's not my story. They do work it out. There is a happily ever after.
Lastly, I do call into question the authors decision to have the epilogue separate from the actual book. If you want to read the epilogue you must sign up for the authors newsletter. I do hope the author changes this. I'm personally uncomfortable with being told I have to "sign up" for what should be included in the book. I did not take any stars away from the review for this mercurial tactic.

More Fashion Writing Would Have Helped Me

I was kind of hoping for more fashion writing and examples. There's a lot of history and theory in here but still considering I have no fashion basis and my last reading on criticism was probably in a philosophy class fifteen years ago it was an easy enough read. I could follow along and all that. It just wasn't really what I was looking for on the subject manner.

Books about the science of hunting or fishing are often lost on general readers, who won't tolerate the leaden style and dense content. Despite some repetition and the occasional confusing passage, Ross generally succeeds where his peers have failed, thanks to clear, even humorous prose and effective use of photographs and diagrams. well worth the effort it takes to read it!

Finally a book on fishing that can teach an angler something about the subject. Although it is written to a degree from the author's perspective as an ocean fly fisherman, it has a lot of really good scientific information about all aspects of fish and fishing, oceans, tides, etc. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to, "catch rather than fish", whether he (or she) is a salt water or fresh water fisherperson. Obviously if you are the latter sort, the portions relating strictly to the ocean and estuaries will not be of much interest. But I know of no book that has given me more information nor made me so excited to try out what I learned!!! I am a life-long avid salt and fresh water angler and considered myself reasonably knowledgable until I read what Mr. Ross has to say.Granted this book takes effort to read. It is more like a text than an easy read. Frankly the first portion of the book put me into a deep slumber after an average of just 5 pages but the last half kept me awake.
I have purchased a copy for my fishing partner since I don't want to give up my copy. My wife(also nuts about fishing) will never see this book. She is already much too competitive(and lucky)! I figure that the information in this book will give me the edge I deserve.

No nonsense, serious fishing!

David Ross gets to the point with consise, informative strategies about surfcasting. The information he presents does not reek of egomania, but instead offers a variety of methods in catching the Big Kauna. It's pure fishing and a guide that is keeping me in line during these colder months. Another positive about this book was the fact that I did not feel like it was an advertising section for certain tackle or gear. The details were not overly wordy, but were easy to grasp and take out to the jetty. I recommend this book to all surfcasters - both rod and fly alike. Good fishing!!

The first section is a slow read, but gets more interesting after 100 or so pages.

The first 100 pages are pretty dry. Mostly about water, salinity and the weather. History stuff too. Section 2 gets into fish and their behavior which is better. I feel like I'm learning a lot, and becoming a more knowledgeable angler, but what I've learned hasn’t produced more or bigger fish yet. I haven't finished the book. I keep meaning to, but every time I pick it up I can only manage a couple pages at a time. Not a page turner by any means.
I'm at a frustrating point in my stage of angling wisdom. I've been fishing recreationally for over 20 years. Although I’ve never caught a trophy fish in any species, I’ve got enough fish to enjoy the sport and want to go back all the time. This summer I’ve been applying the knowledge I’ve attained from this book, and a few videos, and I’m catching less and smaller fish. Perhaps the secret to success is in the end of the book.

About the Author
I live in England with my husband Jonathan. We met at a village dance when we were teenagers in the Seventies, and shortly afterwards we both moved to London for work. I loved the bright lights of the city, and my exciting job in telecommunications. We stayed for ten years before returning home to take over the family floristry business from my parents.One day an advert in the local paper caught my eye: 'Foster Carers Wanted.' I knew straight away it was something I'd love to do. As a child I had a friend whose family took in foster children, and I had often asked my mother if we could do the same. She always said she was too busy with the shop, but after living a fast-paced life in London I felt I could easily manage to sell flowers and care for youngsters. Having a family was something Jonathan and I planned for the future; surely fostering was just like bringing up your own children, if not easier?Looking back, I was incredibly naïve. I was convinced fostering kids would be like caring for flowers: if we provided the right environment, nourished them well and treated them with love and respect, everything would be rosy. We could foster for a few years, and maybe even carry on when we started our own family. Of course, it wasn't like that at all! Each child had a unique set of problems, some incredibly sad, others very shocking. We found ourselves immersed in a care system we knew nothing about, yet soon found impossible to leave.I thrived on the challenge and rewards of being a foster mum, and when I discovered several years on that I was not able to have children of my own, I didn't miss a beat. By then I had trained as a specialist carer for teenagers with complex needs, and I have never looked back. Jonathan and I have fostered more than fifty children over the past twenty-seven years. I hope you will enjoy reading about some of the wonderful children we have been privileged to care for over the years.

It kept my attention to finish it, but the long passages where the author talks about herself were too frequent. Nice to read of a successful ending for such a resilient young person & while I very much appreciate understanding how the foster parent felt, etc - the author seemed to lay it on a bit thick regarding how intuitive and gifted she felt she was as a foster parent.

While Simka is away working long days as a cleaning woman, Bronka is left largely to her own resources. Emotionally resilient, Bronka manages to escape her nightmarish existence, ultimately finding fulfillment and happiness. But the surprising way she does so is a mystery revealed only at the end of this extraordinary tale. Ulitskaya's elegant prose, and her detailed descriptions of everyday life, makes "Bronka" an excellent literary text for students of Russian language, literature, and culture.
